TFC FINANCIAL GROUP CLOSES ISTANBUL REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE
TFC announces the closure of its Group Representative office in Istanbul. TFC Financial Group Chairman, David Sullivan said, “We just want to concentrate on a core business in Asia focused on Cambodia, China and Philippines. We will seriously look at Indonesia as a next step. We will keep a Group representative in Warsaw, Poland since we have secured strong Central Asian links through this office. Whilst still very much interested in Turkey we simply found an evaporation of investment/lending appetite since the financial crisis and TFC like any other institution these days cannot always do everything it would like to do.”
